Maple Valley Township, as of October 1 2019, is now 1/4 owner of the Lakeview District Fire Department.  The Lakeview District Fire Department is composed of 4 township owners. They include Cato, Hinton, Pine and Maple Valley.  They also provide fire coverage for Winfield Township. As such the township is able to have the same if not better coverage for the cost of 1 mil instead of 2 to each of its residents.  With a pool of close to 50 fire personal and trucks stationed in opposite corners of the fire coverage area we can provide a top notch fire coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
